About us

AtoB is building Stripe for Transportation -- fixing the payments infrastructure in the trucking industry.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an early-stage startup working in a huge industry with over a trillion dollars in transaction flow. Trucking is the backbone of the American economy and we have identified opportunities to replace the broken payments infrastructure & help small businesses.

Background

We have raised over $25 million in venture capital from investors such as General Catalyst, Bloomberg Beta, Y Combinator; founders and CEOs of companies like Google (Eric Schmidt), Salesforce (Marc Benioff), Coinbase, DoorDash, Instacart, Mozilla, Wealthfront, Segment, Gusto, Figma; CxOs and founding team members of Uber, PayPal and Stripe; angels like Elad Gil, Naval Ravikant, Gokul Rajaram; and other funds such as Climate Capital, Contrary Capital, Collaborative Fund, Designer Fund, Human Capital, Leadout, XYZ Capital among others.

1. Founding Customer Success Manager

In this role, you will:

  • Guide the organization to design and deliver incredible user experiences.
  • Act on the frontlines to ensure that our customers have a seamless experience using our product and managing their spending.
  • Deeply understand our product's capabilities and explain them to customers of all types.
  • Set clear goals and directions, and provide regular feedback on team members’ performance.
  • Spend a good chunk of your day leading a team of customer specialists, own and track customer experience metrics.
  • Work closely with the product and engineering team to help guide the product roadmap based on our customer's needs.
  • Transmit and foster our values, serving as a beacon of our user-centric philosophy and culture of transparency, empathy, inclusion, and empowerment.
  • Help build the organization through management projects such as recruiting, training, writing team policies, defining team processes, or other organizational improvements.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has 3+ years of experience in customer success or account management roles.
  • At least 1+ years of direct people management experience.
  • Has a track record of onboarding, retaining, and growing customers.
  • Strong operational background and a track-record of making data driven decisions.
  • Experience leading operational teams such as premium support teams (preferably in high-growth technology companies)
  • Has Excel / Data management skills.
  • Has excellent consultative skills with experience in guiding customer's journey.
  • Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through customer issues.

Bonus Points:

  • Transportation or other logistics industry experience is a plus.
  • Technology industry and startup experience is a plus.

2. Onboarding Specialist

In this role, you will:

  • Act on the frontlines to ensure that our customers have a seamless experience using our product and managing their spending.
  • Juggle multiple customer engagements in parallel and work cross-functionally to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.
  • Deeply understand our product's capabilities and explain them to customers of all types.
  • Spend most of your day talking to customers and helping them with issues.
  • Work closely with the product and engineering team to help guide the product roadmap based on our customer's needs.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has 1-2 years of experience in customer success or account management roles.
  • Has a track record of onboarding, retaining, and growing customers.
  • Has Excel / Data management skills.
  • Has excellent consultative skills with experience in guiding customer's journey.
  • Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through customer issues.

Bonus Points:

  • Transportation or other logistics industry experience is a plus.
  • Technology industry and startup experience is a plus.

3. Sales Manager

In this role, you will:

  • Provide hands-on coaching and feedback to a team of sales executives, who are charged with bringing in a new business against monthly revenue targets.
  • Coach, develop, and motivate your team of executives to become top achievers.
  • Successfully exceed monthly sales team targets and successfully complete all activities that drive revenue generation.
  • Lead effective team meetings, one on one's and group trainings.
  • Be working closely with the product and engineering team to help guide the product roadmap based on our customer's needs.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • 4+ years of experience effectively developing, managing and leading sales teams
  • 3+ years of outside sales management experience within the trucking or logistics industry
  • Has a consistent track record of success leading a team to exceed revenue goals
  • Has exceptional Excel / Data management skills.
  • Is a thoughtful leader with a reputation for emotional intelligence and a winning spirit
  • Has excellent consultative skills with experience in guiding customer's journey.
  • Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through customer demands.

Bonus Points:

  • Transportation or other logistics industry experience is a plus.
  • Technology industry and startup experience is a plus.

4. Sales Executive

In this role, you will:

  • Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close
  • Be the face of our company and will be dealing with new customers that are inquiring about our product.
  • Generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting, as well as receive leads from our account development team
  • Be targeting accounts with 10+ vehicles across all geographies within the US
  • Be handling and owning mid-large deal sizes and dealing with fleet managers and fleet owners on a day to day basis.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 2+ years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role
  • Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement
  • Experience handling and owning mid-large deal sizes
  • Experience with high volume cold calling
  • Comfortable in a rapidly changing, high growth tech environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

5. Risk Analyst

About the Role:

The Risk Analyst's objective is to provide accurate assessment of risk throughout the entire AtoB's pipeline from initial customer intake to debt management. This individual plays a critical role in the AtoB's process, ensuring AtoB's accounts are healthy, fair, and competitively optimized.  In this role, you’ll develop a strong foundation for AtoB's risk operations, which lays the groundwork for opportunities in risk strategy and underwriting.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze customer applications for risk and credit decisions.
  • Use model outputs and tools built in-house by our Risk Technology teams, and validate results with personal expertise to help make key credit decisions for customer accounts.
  • Develop expertise on credit and debt management.
  • You will engage cross-functionally (accounts, engineering, etc.) to ensure we are managing accounts fairly, accurately, and competitively.
  • You will participate in special projects focused on our risk operations, such as collaborating with our data science and engineering teams to improve our models and tools.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Experienced collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Excellent at communication (oral and written).

Bonus Points:

  • Prior experience in financial services / underwriting.

6. BizOps Generalist

We are open to carving a role for you if see clear potential, serious hustle, and ambition to grow.

Required:

  • Proficiency in data analysis (SQL, Python, R, or similar)

Bonus Points:

  • Transportation or other logistics industry experience is a plus.
  • Technology industry and startup experience is a plus.
  • Past experience in top management consulting or growth roles at fast-paced startups is a plus.

Comp:

Equity: We’re offering early team equity to each role. Salary is negotiable. We're a remote first company. We're open to US work visa sponsorship. We can setup a multi-round interview process or start on a contract basis in the next 1-2 weeks and if we see a mutual fit, we’ll offer a full-time founding role.
